Do you want to work with the new SAP S/4 HANA? FMC Corporation in Hørsholm is right now looking for a SAP Controlling Business Process Analyst to be part of a new and large SAP S/4 HANA project.

FMC Corporation is seeking a motivated team member to implement and enhance SAP solutions. The scope of this position requires a solid understanding of business processes and available technology solutions. You will employ business and IT skills to design, build, develop, and deliver world-class solutions in a partnership approach with FMC business leadership. The Business Process Analyst must be able to work independently and transmit a strong sense of confidence in helping the business achieve their vision of a successful business transformation.

The Business Process Analyst role requires application of business knowledge and packaged solution expertise to effectively deliver process capabilities. The Business Process Analyst is responsible for working in conjunction with business leadership to understand and document requirements, define functional and technical solutions, evaluate available solutions; define acceptance criteria and test strategies, develop required configuration, direct programming resources in the delivery of technical solutions, assist in testing responsibilities, work with business constituents on user acceptance testing and sign-off, define and manage the development of training material, manage assigned project management responsibilities and report on status and progress on a regular basis.  

Position Responsibilities

  • Works with IT and end users to map new business processes on the SAP (and other related) system and works with end user community on potential enhancements
  • Independently identifies business process improvement opportunities and builds business case to encourage the business to implement these solutions
  • Ensures functional business requests are consistent with the IT governance strategy and the IT business support model
  • Ensures results are obtained to satisfy client requirements and that the new business processes operate effectively and efficiently in the integrated system environment
  • Effectively communicates significant changes to colleagues and the end user community in a timely manner
  • Responsible for documenting business procedures relating to new functionality; up-to-date configuration and end user training materials
  • Effectively leads a small project:
    • Follows standard project methodology 
    • Develops and manages the plan for their segment of the project
    • Performs configuration and develops program specifications required to meet the project objectives 
    • Identifies potential issues which may impede delivering on business requirements; bringing those issues to the attention of the functional team leader or project sponsor and driving to resolution to obtain business results

Required Education

  • BS Degree, preferably in a technical discipline or the relevant functional discipline (Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics, Finance) and/or equivalent years of business experience
  • Post-graduate degree in a technical discipline preferred

Experience/Competencies

  • 5+ years of design, implementation, or support of SAP solutions (SAP in Controlling)
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of business processes sufficient to be credible and influential with management and partners
  • Strong knowledge of SAP in Controlling modules
  • Broad knowledge with configuration experience in Product Costing, Budget, Cost Centers\\\\Cost Elements, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis, Projects System in SAP ECC is required (demonstrated ability to configure)
  • Knowledge and experience with BPC Budgeting and Planning is desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills to communicate with non-technical clients, IT professionals, and management
