Senior SAP MM Retail Consultant

They are now looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant to help strengthen and grow their internal SAP MM expertise. In this role, you will play an important part in building up knowledge within JYSK’s SAP department and work with improving retail excellence processes towards their more than 3.400 stores.

You will be part of their SAP Planning and Master Data team, working in an agile environment alongside skilled SAP consultants, developers, architects, and business specialists. As a Senior SAP MM Retail Consultant, you will play an integral role in their agile teams, advancing your technical expertise while contributing to their retail processes.Furthermore, they offer you:

What your next job will be about
As a Senior SAP MM Retail Consultant, you focus will be on SAP MM Inventory Management processes within their Retail Excellence team with focus towards store processes. This includes store stock movements, movement types, stock counting and supporting goods receipt processes in stores for deliveries from both distribution centers and external suppliers.

Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

• designing, configuring, testing, and implementing SAP MM solutions for Inventory Management, Purchasing, and Logistics Execution
• supporting inbound and outbound deliveries (SAP-LES), including goods receipts for external purchase orders and stock transport orders
• enhancing and supporting SAP OData services that integrate with Java-based frontend applications used in stores
• defining and documenting business processes, solution designs and functional specifications in their documentation platform
• providing counselling, training, and 3rd-level support to superusers in the JYSK organisation
• coordinating tasks and projects in close collaboration with business stakeholders and agile teams
• contributing to the ongoing brownfield implementation of SAP S4/HANA
• continuosly developing your own competencies and staying updated on SAP innovations and retail industry trends

You will report to the Team Leader of SAP Planning and Master Data and collaborate closely with colleagues across IT and business teams. Daily tasks will be managed within a scrum team structure.

What should you bring

• has proven experience as an SAP MM Consultant, preferably in a retail environment
• has solid hands-on experience with Inventory Management, stock counting, stock valuation, purchasing, and logistics execution in SAP
• shares technical knowledge actively and supports team learning
• understands the SAP solution landscape across functional areas and departments.
• has worked in agile environments such as Scrum, SAFe or Kanban
• is skilled at estimating and pacing complex tasks while ensuring coordination and implementation within and across departments and Agile scrum teams
