JYSK is looking for an SAP EWM Solution Architect accountable for ensuring that the warehouse management systems they introduce in SAP Logistics not only align with current needs but also with the strategic direction of their business. The solution architect secures that solution designs align with their overall IT Strategy, policies, principles and guidelines.
At present, JYSK has one of the most comprehensive SAP Retail solutions in Denmark and are one of the SAP front runners with multiple SAP platforms. To support the business organization within warehouse operations JYSK has automated warehouses and warehouse management systems adopting and applying new technologies to help achieve operational excellence. The goal is to have all warehouses in JYSK on SAP EWM.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
Your main responsibilities as an SAP EWM Solution Architect are to ensure that the solution design and functionality of the EWM solutions in logistics meet the business requirements. You will align across business and IT on the logistics roadmap to meet the overall IT Strategy, policies, principles and guidelines. You will participate in warehouse management projects together with their providers and support the logistics team gain knowledge and experience within SAP EWM. Furthermore:
- solution designs – facilitate and coordinate the design processes involving the right business and IT stakeholders, safeguarding the MVP mindset and their principles and guidelines.
- architectural roadmap and governance – create/maintain an architectural roadmap for the domain
- business involvement – proactive in ensuring a good understanding of the business processes covered by or supported by the domain. Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategic focus and how it affects the domain, and advise on how improvements to digital solutions can improve their business in the domain
- communication and handover of solutions – can facilitate breakdown of solution designs with agile teams and clearly communicate architectural vision and solution intent to stakeholders

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
JYSK is looking for a new colleague who:
- has +5 years’ experience working as a Solution Architect within EWM and preferably a degree in the field of Computer Science, Business Science, Logistics, or a like
- has extensive experience with logistics processes ideally within the retail industry and can advise business on optimization of logistics processes leveraging on EWM
- can challenge their providers of EWM solutions on the architectural and conceptual level
- has hands-on experience in designing EWM solutions with integrations to ERP and 3rd party systems
- can support business, solution providers and EWM Consultants in Warehouse management projects
- excellent communication skills (fluent in English is a must and Danish a huge plus), strong analytical skills, a high degree of integrity, and good listening skills
