If you have solid knowledge as developer and processes within SAP TM and secondary general transportation in Logistic Execution (LE-TRA) and you would like to utilize everything you know and make an impact, this job is what you want. You will get the opportunity to put your personal mark on how Royal Unibrew set up and use SAP TM and Transportation across all subsidiaries. You will join a very recently released pilot project as one of two primary TM specialist. In the perfect world you will have a strong technical background as developer in SAP TM area, but also with knowledge of SAP TM processes. Experiences gained will be used to make a project template for all the succeeding projects they have in pipeline. As such, you have a rather unique career opportunity at your hands.
Key role from identification of needs throughout design and development to final implementation
Royal Unibrew growth model is to buy companies with strong local brands and then gradually harvest synergies via implementation of common systems and tools. Regarding SAP, they are at the beginning of this journey. The goal is to further build and implement an advanced transportation management system with TM as one of several key components – and then roll it out across the international organisation with room for local tailoring.
As SAP TM developer you will unfold your skills across the total value chain from identification of needs throughout design and development to final implementation. With “you build, you own it” as foundation your primary tasks will be to:
- Identify needs and further development opportunities of TM system via close dialogue with SAP TM functional lead, local managers and teams – interviews, workshops etc.
- Create requirement specifications.
- Design TM solutions that tap logically and smooth into the overall logistics setup, where you will beable to support on more technical aspects of SAP TM using ABAP OO and BOPF (Business Object Business Framework).
- Project manage TM deliveries – with own hands-on developments and use of external consultants.
- Test, bug fix and support final implementation.
- Provide support after implementation – Able to fix issues in technically area of SAP TM.
Extensive knowledge of SAP TM, including developing, implementation and support
As SAP developer you must thrive in a role where you are the one that drives things forward within your domain. As part of this, you and the team must be able to turn problems into solutions with due respect to team dynamics and constructive team work. This part also calls for your good communication skills with and additional understanding of professional and cultural differences. Additionally, your CV comprises:
- Extensive knowledge of SAP TM, including developing, implementation and support.
- Extensive development experience in SAP TM such as BOPF (Business Object Business Framework)
- Deep knowledge of TM Business Object data model, especially TOR model
- Good knowledge of TM conditions, data access definitions and data crawler profiles
- Webservice enhancement skills
- Customizing experience in SAP TM is preferred, but not a must.
- Experience from several full implementation cycles
- Project management and mentoring skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
Tasks
- Bug fixing in SAP TM in Pilot project, where they are already live.
- Further developing of current TM landscape in case of new requirements, where focus will be more on developments capabilities.
