Architect for LEO Pharma SAP Basis
Based in their Application Architecture team your focus is to be part of running, designing and building the basis-architecture of SAP across LEO Pharma.
The day to day handling of SAP Basis is outsourced to an external partner. As such, you will work on a higher level and bridge the Leo SAP Basis architecture needs by guiding the vendor. You will be responsible for a stable and documented process for running SAP Basis and related tasks in Leo, and for guiding Architects and Projects in how to include Basis issues in changes and projects
Across all of your tasks it is vital that you ensure consistent compliance with the overall solution architecture of their SAP solution.
Solid experience with SAP Basis
You have at least five years of experience from working with SAP Basis solutions, optimally in hybrid landscapes with integrated on-premise and cloud solutions. Experience with running SAP on Windows will also be an advantage, as it would be to have experience with HANA platform (as Leo is running SAP BI and SAP ECC on HANA) and SAP Cloud Platform. You have a good understanding of infrastructure set-up and have been working with Batch Job control, System refresh’s etc.
Founded within your business acumen you can identify needs and improvements, conceptualize and communicate proposals for changes – and coordinate development and implementation with external consultants.
As Solution Architect and gatekeeper you will need a certain level of authority including the ability to back your decisions with solid and easy-understandable arguments. In combination with your understanding of the mechanisms in a large organization you know when to stand your ground and when to compromise (in dialogue with very strong stakeholder personalities in high level positions). As you will work in an organization in rapid development you must thrive in an environment where the only constant is change. This require stamina and energy.

You will join a growing area of highly skilled SAP Solution and Domain Architects covering their entire SAP solution portfolio at LEO Pharma’s headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. They own and design all SAP solutions across the global LEO organization.
