Step into a close-knit SAP community
At their HQ in Hedehusene, you will become part of global Finance and Group Systems IT and their SAP management team as you join us to head their global Record to Report team.
The team consists of 12 experienced SAP consultants, and together, they are responsible for one of the most complex SAP process areas in DSV. Based at 6 different locations across the world, the team handles global SAP solutions encompassing FI, CO, SD, and MM modules. Despite the geographical dispersion, they collaborate closely and share a very warm camaraderie.
Also, you can look forward to becoming part of a close-knit SAP community within group IT which consists of approx. 70 highly skilled IT colleagues.

Manage your team and coordinate tasks
As manager of the Record to Report team, you will lead your team, ensure their development and motivation, and make sure they support SAP activities effectively. Putting your own SAP knowledge to good use, you work hands-on with the development, operations, maintenance, and support of processes within the SAP application.
You will be spending a great deal of your time coordinating tasks with other process areas, as their area is intertwined with other SAP processes across the organisation. Just as you will interact with stakeholders globally and manage relationships with SAP and third-party vendors.
More specifically, some of your key tasks include:
- Managing SAP Finance modules (FI/CO) for Record to Report process
- Optimising existing processes for efficiency and alignment with industry best practices
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data in SAP systems
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Providing support to finance and accounting teams
People manager with solid SAP knowledge
As a leader, you are known for your diplomacy as well as your proficiency in stakeholder management and problem-solving. You have a thorough understanding of systems and processes, especially in the realm of finance.
Also, you have a strategic mindset and your effective communication skills enable seamless interaction with colleagues across all organisational levels.
Also, we imagine that you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field (master’s degree preferred)
- Experience in IT management
- Experience with SAP Solutions – and you know how to stay abreast of SAP developments
- Experience in application management, IT security, compliance, and understanding of business processes
- Familiarity with ITIL and project management
- The ability to work with remote team members
- Great communication skills in English
