Main Tasks
- Support usage of SAP in FeMD, primary in production/QM/logistics
- Identify, define and model the business requirements for the application and custom components; create functional specifications
- Configure, develop, deliver and document the solution through changes and projects, applying application architecture principles
- Improve application performance
- Evaluate the developed solution
- Provide functional or technical support for users of the application by solving incidents and problems
- Perform root cause analysis at a functional or technical level
- Deliver input for and execute data migration tasks, analyze data quality and define data cleansing opportunities
- Demonstrate, provide training, and guide testing activities and transfer to community
- Monitor the use of the application and help users to do their work in the most optimal way
- Liaise with other Application Specialists in case of cross application processes
- Liaise with software vendors / third party specialists / third party support, technical specialists, application support and business key users
- Perform validation activities in cooperation with key users – develop user requirement, risk assessment, test plan, Operational Performance Qualification Protocol and Report
Qualifications
- Relevant academic or professional qualifications within IT/production/Quality management/logistics
- At least 5 years SAP experience is required.
- Experience with some of the following modules preferred: MM, PP (PP-PI), QM, WM
- Experience with ABAP is a plus
- Experience with working in the pharmaceutical/life science industry
- Experience with GxP, CFR 21, annex 11
Personal skills
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Desire to further grow as a professional and being up-to-date as requirements changes, ex. implementation of SAP S/4HANA
- Have the ability to establish good co-operation with internal customers at all levels in the organization
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in Danish and English
What you’ll be doing
- The functional application specialist translates business information requirements/processes into IT Solutions with the goal to support the business in its daily operations.
- The specialist delivers, implement and maintain the created IT Solutions.
- Solve and close incidents according to severity.
