Business Enabling/Data Warehouse is part of Corporate IT. Our main focus areas are SAP BW backend development – and specifically data integration and data modelling as well as SAP BW Operations. We work closely with the CIT BE Solution/Business Intelligence team which is in charge of integrated planning and frontend development. As Senior IT Consultant, you will be based in Billund and get the opportunity to take the lead in the translation of business requirements into solid IT solutions within different business areas. You will work on global projects and learn from – and collaborate with – colleagues from all over the world as well as further develop your talent.
Develop SAP BW solutions
You help develop SAP BW solutions with special emphasis on architecture, modelling, data flows and data extraction. You will primarily be working within the Enterprise Data Warehouse Platform and your mission is to drive, lead and orchestra a part of the enterprise platform in terms of both business processes and IT application. This includes both project management and change requests and you help translate business requirements into solid IT solutions within areas of Prototyping, Business Requirements, Gap Analyses, Data Modelling, Process Documentation and Implementation (can include customizing). Your main challenge will be to gain an in-depth understanding of the company business model and strategy and current technical setup, converting business needs into effective and workable solutions. Further, as you will be interacting with external suppliers, it is important that you are able to cooperate and coordinate our efforts with our international partners abroad.
SAP Specialist with strong business acumen
– You have a degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar combined with at least 3 years of relevant experience within the areas of data warehousing and business intelligence
– You have a track record within data warehousing. We use the latest SAP ECC 6.0, SAP CRM 7.0 and ECC 6.0 retail version using SAP Portal, SAP NetWeaver, SAP RPM, SAP cProjects, SAP IP, SAP BW, SAP CRM, SAP BRM, SAP DMS, SAP SCM.
– Finally, you speak and write English at a high level. As a person, you are outgoing and possess excellent communications and stakeholder management skills. At the same time, you are thorough and organised, and you understand the business structures and processes of a full value chain company. Lastly, you are able to drive new development processes forward and help shape the projects you are working on.
